ABOUT THE CLUB

We are a friendly club of 60 or so members, based in the Coventry area. Mostly amateurs of all standards from novice to expert.

Members are always willing to exchange ideas and advice on all woodturning topics from obtaining wood and other supplies, advising on equipment and tools, to improving turning techniques.

We operate a club shop at most meetings, and hold a range of annual competitions for ourcoveted club trophies.

We publish a Newsletter every month with interesting articles, discussing ideas,

advertising, and publishing lists of meetings and events.

Membership costs £19.00 a year, and includes both Club and affiliated membership of the AssociatedWoodturners of Great Britain, our national body, which offers a whole range of benefits as explained in their explanatory leaflet.

Anyone wishing to join Coombe Abbey Woodturners may wish to visit the Club before deciding whetherto become full members, and is invited to attend two Club meetings, before being asked to join the AWGB and being admitted to Club membership.
